This November, KingsMen launches a program for men of 50 and above.

A weekend set apart to look your life in the eye — to face what you have received, what has shaped you, and what you are now called to give.

This is not about slowing down.
This is about stepping up.

Our society is not short on opinions, but it is short on men who take responsibility. Young people are looking for examples. Families need stability. And the church needs men who are willing to stand, serve, and build.

You have been given strength, experience, and wisdom. The question is not if you have something to give — but whether you will.

The price includes costs for accommodation and meals, but exclusive travelcosts.

Every man must take out his own travel insurance.

Transport:

Departure outbound:

– Eindhoven: day before (Wednesday) around 2pm

– Lyon: day before (Wednesday) in the evening

Arrival return:

– Lyon: on Sunday afternoon

– Eindhoven: on Sunday evening around midnight

Because we travel together, we have more time to talk and share with each other.

We will share transport costs between Eindhoven/Lyon and Canigou according to ability to pay. These are not included in the registration fee. The amounts are approximately: €200 from Eindhoven, €180 from Brussels and €100 from Lyon.

We will give more details a few weeks before the 50+.

Canigou

Our starting point is the more than 1000 year old abbey of Saint Martin du Canigou in Casteil (France), which is inhabited by a young religious community “Les Béatitudes”. They live off donations from, among others, the more than 10,000 tourists they receive each year in this special place. Furthermore, their life consists of prayer. For this, they meet three times a day and individually spend time in silence. Our programme is adapted to the prayer times of this community.
